About to start college and wondering what you should bring? Looking for a gift to give to a poor college girl? Well look no further! Here's a list of the most useful items I brought with me to college.

Bathrobe
A good bathrobe is a handy must-have in college. I love feeling completely covered when having to jump out of the shower instead of half wrapped in a towel that's ready to slip at any moment. I love this bathrobe from Amazon! It has a great length, is super soft, has an inside tie to make sure it stays closed, and best of all... it has pockets! It comes in a variety of colors and sizes as well.
Slippers
If you're living with messy roommates, live in an old apartment, or just like to have cozy feet, its a good idea to get some comfy slippers. I love to use mine during the winter months, not only to keep my feet warm but to protect them from all the dirt and road salt that my roommates track in the apartment with their shoes. There's lots of styles to choose from, but here are some of my favorites.
Menstrual Cup
Having a menstrual cup has single handedly saved my life in college. I was hesitant to get one at first, but it has helped solve so many problems for me, no leaks, less irritation, and I've saved tons of money not having to restock my pads and tampons. Using a menstrual cup is seriously a game changer. I love the Pixie brand.

Hanging Jewelry Organizer
If your apartment has limited shelf and desk space, or if your like me and love jewelry a little too much, a hanging jewelry organizer is a great alternative to a jewelry box. The zipper pockets are super useful to make sure you don't lose anything when moving in and out between semesters.
Travel Hairdryer
A compact hairdryer is just the thing to keep around at college. It's compact but powerful for it's small size. It doesn't have a lot of fancy settings, so if your hair care routine is intense, it might be worth it to get a bigger hairdryer. But if your like me and only use it occasionally, this is perfect. Another perk for this hair dryer is that it has dual voltage capabilities, great for a study abroad.
Reusable Shopping Bags
As a college student without a car, I have to ride the bus to the store to go grocery shopping. Bringing reusable shopping bags with me has been a life saver. They can hold much more than the average plastic bag from the store (so you have less to hold on the bus or walk from the car to the apartment), they're cuter, and it helps reduce plastic waste.
Makeup Erasing Cloth
I've had my MakeUp Eraser for years and it's never done me wrong! I love how easily it will remove both heavy and light makeup products, just add water! It takes off my mascara effortlessly and saves me the expense of frequently buying makeup remover wipes.
I use these items almost daily and they have proved to be some of the best purchases I have made!
